# Problem/Potential

While there have been many pet-related crypto and NFT projects, they have predominately focused on pets *in general*, rather than each animal friend as an individual who is able to join them along their journey (think of your favorite pet-themed meme coin or PFP project as a reference point). 

While we support any project that furthers the celebration and flourishing our furry friends, there has not been a project that has allowed its users to develop their pet as an individual. Every person who has a pet knows that there are characteristics and quirks that make him or her different than any other pet on earth. No two pets-even of the same breed, species and parents-are the same.
